Angela Shin (Shin Chaeyeon) is a young artist from Korea working with fiber, textile, cotton, and paper which she hand dyes and/or uses the botanical contact printing technique. Her colors are often foraged from her surroundings and with her work, she tries to connect with everyday nature such as morning light, daylight cycles, and more. With her hand-dye fabrics, she composes what looks like abstract landscape paintings that reference where the colors came from and celebrate life and nature.
She has been spending her days collecting some plants and working on plant prints with ink, and created a plant puzzle with some of the plant prints, which you can actually play with.
