We invite you to Inês R. Amado’s performance on Monday, January 30th.
The participatory performance will take place in our cave at 18:30, then we move on to the greenhouse for Inês’ site-specific installation, and celebrate with paella.
As she has been working in the cave, where she was faced with impermanence - a state of being in our area where sedimentation and aridity are so present and impossible to negate or ignore- Inês is finalizing her work with a participatory performance and inviting everyone who reads this text to contribute with their positive thoughts for the planet.
In parallel, she will present a site-specific installation piece in the greenhouse, which will be accompanied by a short video focusing on the environmental activities of the Finca, cut-outs of words relating to the notions she associates with the space and the people who care for the land, and selection of sounds that she has encountered and listened to around the space.
All in the area are welcome to join us. The entrance is free of charge. There will be a donation-based charge for paella, which will go towards the environmental projects at the Finca.
