Samantha is a lawyer and designer who works on the topics of food and fashion waste. She regularly experiments with plant-based dyes and inks for screen printing, and spins and knits unique garments.
During her stay, she experimented with prickly pear fruits to use as screenprinting ink. After @samm_lewis did and collected some of them on the way to the residency, and after several tryouts, she was able to use some of the ink to test some of her patterns and will continue this work to find a stabilizer for the natural ink.
